Band Dads to the Rescue!

American Fork High School Color Guard has the BEST Band Dads!  Our Band Dad's help us get our Back Drops on the field, they make our back drops, they make props, they repair our props.  They are at all of our competitions cheering us on from the sidelines.  We LOVE our BAND DADS!

On our way to St George, this is what our Band Dad's found

All of the Color Guard girls standing on the side of the road next to their bus.  When we talked to them this is what we found out

They had a fire on the bus, the most important part was that all of the girls were safe.  So then the Dad's got in the "Solve the Problem" mode, because that is what Band Dad's do.  Richard Blanco took care of the first need, getting blankets for the girls.   Ernie John the general fix it all man and  Judd Statham, the electrical whiz, got to work on the bus.  They determined the fire had started in a speaker for the bus sound system.  They did a quick repair and eliminated the wires with the problem and we were good to go.

We opted to follow the bus the rest of the way to St George, just in case, but they got there just fine.

BAND DAD'S YOU ARE THE BEST!

Love you all,
Momma Blanco
